Designations in Real Estate
How real estate designations impact you buying or selling
If you’ve received a REALTORs® business card recently, you may have noticed some symbols, letters, and verifications that you’re not familiar with. Titles like ABR, SRS, and GRI are what we call designations in the real estate industry and help you identify a realtor who is well equipped to help you with your specific needs.
Designations and accreditations mean that a real estate agent has taken additional training to better help their clients and customers. Each designation has its own requirements and specifications, which let you as a buyer or seller know whether their skillset is something that will help you get the best results in your real estate transaction.
At Elite Property Sales, we believe in continually learning and developing more knowledge to better help our clients with their buying and selling needs. As the market is always changing, so are the skills and technology we need in order to help our clients.
That’s why you see the symbols on our homepage and can feel confident in knowing we have the tools, resources, and insight to help Central Florida buyers and sellers have an amazing real estate experience.
Our designations include: the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), which is a special set of courses available to only advanced realtors; Orlando Gold Key, a local award given to professional realtors who exibit excellence in all their business dealings; Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), a designation showing an in-depth knowledge of the listing process and marketing for excellent results; and more.
If you’re in the market for a realtor, whether selling your home or buying a new one, keep an eye out for agents who have taken the time to learn the skills that will help you get the best results from the real estate market.
